Pia Bouman and young dance students from the Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement, a Parkdale-based not-for-profit organization, talk about the school’s 25th annual performance of Nutcracker. Shows Dec 16-19 at Lismer Hall, Humberside Collegiate Institute, 280 Quebec Avenue. This full-length production is the longest running performance of this classic holiday ballet danced by young people aged 7 to 16 in Toronto.

Dance students Jessie Garon and Turner Norman from The School of Toronto Dance Theatre which trains and educates young dancers in the art of contemporary dance. They talk about their presentation of IMPULSE 2010 showing Dec 2-4 and Dec 9-11 8pm at the Winchester Dance Theatre, 80 Winchester Street. 
Elke Schroeder, a graduate of the School of Toronto Dance Theatre and the Octopus Garden Yoga Centre's teacher's training program talks about her classes in her newly founded Ahimsa Yoga Centre and her West End Toronto FloorWork classes for professional and pre-professional dancers. The Ahimsa Yog?y?ma Program is a revolutionary approach to yoga teacher training and personal practice development.  The flexibility and freedom offered to the participants is unparalleled.
