Gwen Dobie, Adapter/Director of Theatre York presentation of John Gay's The Beggar’s Opera. Supporting the action are six members of the York Dance Ensemble, York's pre-professional repertory company, performing original choreography by Professor Michael Greyeyes. Gwen Dobie is currently an Associate Professor at the York University Theatre Department where she teaches Movement for the Actor at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Previews January 28, opening January 29, runs to February 1,Tuesday to Friday at 7:30pm; matinees Friday & Saturday.
