Choreographer Emily Cheung, Artistic Director of Little Pear Garden Collective. Her presentation of Venom of Love takes place May 15-17 2014, 8pm, Fleck Dance Theatre, Harbourfront Centre, as part of the NextSetps 2013-2014 dance season. 2014 marks their 20th anniversary. Inspired by the classic Chinese mystical Legend of the White Snake. Cheung uses the story to explore feelings of love, hate, jealousy, abandonment and sacrifice, as they are manifested in a forbidden romance between a human and a demon.   http://littlepeargarden.com/
