Choreographer Sashar Zarif on the Sashar Zarif Dance Theatre presentation of Moving Memories: Creating Living Steps Out of Ancient Traces, showing May 8 & 9, 2015 at 8pm, Small World Music Centre, 180 Shaw Street. An intimate dance exploring mystical Sufi and Shamanic traditions of Western and Central Asia through a contemporary lens.
 
 
Internationally renowned artist Keith Hennessy on his piece in the Dancemakers presentation of Capitalism, Sex, and Magic. This rotating triple-bill also features local pioneer Eroca Nicols (a.k.a. Lady Janitor), and Montreal avant-garde artist Andrew Tay. Taking place May 6-9 2015, 8pm, plus Saturday May 9 matinee at 3pm.
