Jo Leslie, dramaturge and director for dance and interdisciplinary work, talks about her workshop The 4 Elements: Moving Into Personal Mythology taking place Sept 27-Oct 2 10am-12.30pm at Dovehouse Dance Ballroom, 805 Dovercourt road, 2nd Floor.  Acclaimed independent dancer and choreographer and master improviser, she co-founded Montreal's Studio 303 and was one of the first teachers at LADMI .  This workshop, originally taught by master teacher Richard Pochinko in the 1970's explores inner landscape through improvisation in movement, gesture, sound, words, character and narrative.  A Series 8:08 Alternative Technique class.  www.series808.ca/atcprogram.html 

 
Choreographer Sharon B. Moore, 2010 Dora Award Nominee and Director/Dramaturge Derek Aasland, talk about their production of The Great Farini Project, A Harrowing Dance Work of One-Upmanship showing Sept 22-25 8pm at Enwave Theatre, Harbourfront Centre.  Inspired by the life of Canadian William Hunt (1838-1929) who was one of the most famous HI-Wire walkers of the Victorian Era and an unrivaled circus entrepreneur.  www.farini.org
