Ann Cooper Albright, Performer, Choreographer, Feminist Scholar and Chair of the Society of Dance History Scholars, on their Annual Conference Dance Dramaturgy: Catalyst, Perspective and Memory taking place at York University June 23-26.  An international body of scholars and artists discuss the growing impact of the discipline, history and potential of dance dramaturgy. Brings together the resources of York University's Masters of Fine Arts Graduate Program in Dance, the Graduate Centre for Study of Drama and UC Drama at the University of Toronto as well as the Toronto-based companies Dancemakers, Series 808 and Nightswimming. Choreographers Angela Blumberg and Anastasia Maywood talk about their works in  Mind The Gap-Yes, But! six new theatrical dance works taking place Friday June 24 & Saturday June 25 8pm at Pia Bouman School of Dance, Scotiabank Theatre, 6 Noble Street.

Choreographer Kathleen Rea, Artistic Drector of REAson D'Etre Dance Productions on VIVID4 featuring two new dance works taking place June 23-25 at Winchester Street Theatre, 80 Winchester Street. The Wild In Us explores the need to know the animal within in order to become human. In Unraveling The Tight Weave eleven dancers 20-60 knit and unravel physically and emotionally.
